Product introduction
The bw olet is a branch connector installed on the main pipeline (or pressure vessel shell) to lead the branch pipeline from the main pipe. It is connected to the main pipe and branch pipe by butt welding to form a solid integrated structure. It is widely used in pipeline systems in the oil, natural gas, chemical, power and other industries.

High-strength Connection
The bw olet adopts butt welding connection. The connection strength of the weld can reach more than 95% of the strength of the main pipe material and can withstand a working pressure of up to 70MPa (about 700 bar). This makes it suitable for high-pressure pipelines such as natural gas transmission pipelines and refining units.
Arc Base
The base of the bw olet adopts an arc design with a curvature radius of the main pipeline R1=outer diameter of the main pipe/2, which reduces the stress concentration factor to 1.05, effectively avoiding fatigue cracking caused by excessive local stress, and is particularly suitable for frequent start-stop and pulsating pressure systems.

Can the bw olets be used to repair the main pipeline?
The bw olets is usually used for new branch connections. Although it can assist in local repairs in some cases, if the main pipeline has been damaged over a large area, it is recommended to use a special repair sleeve or replace the pipe section.
Does the bw olets support non-standard customization?

How to protect the bw olets during transportation?
During transportation, the bw olets usually uses protective caps to close the interfaces at both ends, and uses anti-rust oil to treat the surface. At the same time, it is packed in wooden boxes, pallets or shockproof materials to prevent bumps, corrosion and pollution, and ensure that the arrival is intact.
What tests need to be done after the bw olets is welded?
